A bold pop of color for your bar cart or coffee table, this mid-century serving tray features a saturated Hermès-orange field framed by a slim black rim with ivory ribbed handle grips for comfortable carry. The two-tone palette and softened rectangle form capture the sleek, practical elegance of the 1960s–70s jet-age cocktail era. Ideal for service—and striking enough to live out as décor.

Design & History
During the post-war boom, European and Japanese makers popularized colorful, durable trays for modern entertaining—often in lacquered hardboard or melamine with cut-out handles. This example channels that look with a minimal silhouette and high-impact color that mixes easily with Danish/Italian modern, Hollywood Regency, or contemporary interiors. (Not affiliated with Hermès; “Hermès-orange” refers only to the color.)

Styling Ideas
Bar cart hero: Stage Negroni glassware, a chrome shaker, and citrus to echo the orange.
Coffee table anchor: Layer atop a linen ottoman with a black-and-white design book and a small bud vase.
Vanity or entry: Catch keys, sunglasses, and small accessories; the lip keeps items corralled.
Tablescape: Use as a centerpiece base with a cluster of candlesticks for graphic contrast.

Condition
Good vintage condition with light surface wear to top and scuffs/chips to the black underside and at edges (see photos). Stable and ready to use; wear consistent with age and purposeful entertaining.
