An exceptionally rare Fall 1956 E&W “Quadriga Cloth” original textile sample presentation board, featuring three vivid colorways of mid-century floral cotton prints in red, golden chartreuse, and cobalt blue.
Issued by E.W. Brands, this page formed part of a professional showroom or traveling sales binder used to present new fabric lines to department stores, interior decorators, and garment manufacturers. These boards were working tools of the textile trade and were typically discarded after seasonal use, making surviving examples increasingly scarce.
Each colorway retains its pinking-shear sample edge, hand-mounted layout, and original style numbers (2098 B–D), offering a beautiful and authentic snapshot of American textile marketing during the post-war design boom.
Marked:
“Fall 1956 – Quadriga Cloth – Exclusive Needleized Finish – E&W Brands”
