A chic set of five vintage French cordial or liqueur glasses, attributed to Luminarc and dating to approximately the 1970s–1980s.
Each glass combines a rounded, crystal-clear bowl with a dramatic, elongated stem and circular foot in glossy opaque black glass. The striking two-tone construction creates a clean, graphic silhouette associated with French Mid-Century Modern and late-20th-century barware. The form is commonly identified by collectors and secondary-market dealers as Luminarc’s “Onyx” pattern.
The smaller bowl makes these glasses particularly well suited for serving cordials, liqueurs, digestifs, port, sherry, amaro, dessert wine, or after-dinner cocktails. Their sculptural black-and-clear coloration also makes the set an elegant addition to a styled bar cart, cocktail cabinet or contemporary tablescape.
A sophisticated choice for collectors of vintage French glassware, Luminarc stemware, black glass, Mid-Century Modern barware and monochromatic table accessories. The unexpected set of five lends itself beautifully to intimate entertaining or display.
Each glass is marked “FRANCE” on the underside of the foot.
Sold as a set of five.
The general black-stem design is also widely documented as Luminarc’s French-made “Domino” glassware.
Good vintage condition with light wear consistent with age and use. Minor surface scratches or small variations in the glass may be present. No chips, cracks, or repairs observed.
